How to disassemble an ASUS X 552 C Notebook PC

To begin, remove the battery:

Remove the two screws from the rear panel. You have access to the hard disk drive and memory stick holder.

Unscrew all screws on the rear panel. To remove the plastic on the keyboard side, put the PC on its side and pull the two parts apart :

Once the 3 connectors (keyboard, on button and trackpad) are disconnected, you can release the upper part.

Unscrew the screw on the DVD player to remove it. Remove the screws marked with a white arrow on the motherboard and the two screws holding the fan.

Disconnect the LCD connector, the speakers, and the power connector. The motherboard is completely free.
